I have experience tutoring elementary students in reading and writing through the OKC Metropolitan Library System's "Come Read with Me" program. As part of my graduate studies I have experience designing lessons and conveying ideas in various elementary education topics, including math, science, art, and social studies. I want to tutor while I'm in school so I can get hands-on experience with students and experience what works and what doesn't in teaching one-on-one.

Hobbies
My two favorite things are reading and hanging out outside. When the two are combined, it's magical! On weekends you can often find me on a weekend jaunt to the Wichita Mountains or Robber's Cave for hiking and exploring this state's great resources. I'm also passionate about education, and read about various educational practices around the world to see how they can be incorporated into my future classroom.
