Experience
I have been teaching and tutoring for 10+ years in a wide variety of capacities from formal large group classroom instruction to 1-1 tutoring at virtually every age and level of ability. Much of my experience has been with young children and teens, in small groups and one - one, most of which has been abroad; Primarily in Austria, Russia, Thailand, South Korea and Japan. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and young adults. I actually find it somewhat difficult to concisely express how rewarding it is to me to play a key role in assisting [a] student(s) succeed at an academic (and at times personal) endeavor, thereby developing more and more self confidence, contributing to a healthy self esteem. I absolutely love it when, while struggling with a particular problem or concept, I see "the light" in a student's eyes when they "get it", breaking through yet another barrier toward personal success. Furthermore, I genuinely believe that having fun while studying (it is possible! I promise!) one will learn more and more efficiently. I continually strive to strike the balance between having fun and learning which makes for a significantly more positive atmosphere.

I enjoy spending time with friends for dinner, a movie, a road trip and/or camping. I like skateboarding, snowboarding, playing and watching soccer. Watching movies, reading, travelling... Essentially, I just really like to be active and have fun!
