I got my RN license in 2005 after completing my BSN from the University of Oklahoma. I earned my MSW with a focus in Direct Practice in 2015, also from OU.

Experience

I was a tutor during high school, scored a 34 on the ACT and 1460 on the SAT, and got a 4 on the AP Bio, English, and European History exams. I am currently adjunct faculty for nursing at OCCC - I just love to teach! I have published 3 scientific articles (available on PubMed) related to the care of children with rare endocrine conditions.

I volunteer with Girl Scouts and Sierra Club. My hobbies include cooking, camping, and crafts (and things that don't start with c, like reading, and alliteration). I work as a social worker, a pediatric behavioral health nurse, and a clinical nursing instructor, and teach community CPR classes in my spare time. I have 2 dogs, no kids, 5 nieces, and 3 nephews.
