Daniel B.
Private tutor in Oklahoma City, OK
Education
I have earned undergraduate degrees in Finance and in Economics from the University of Oklahoma in 1997. Then I earned a Masters degree in Math Education from OU's rival school, the University of Texas at Austin. Finally after teaching High School for a Year in Ardmore, Oklahoma, I decided that I wanted to teach college and I then I earned a Masters Degree in Mathematics from University of Oklahoma. And that enabled me to begin my teaching at Oklahoma City Community College.
Experience
I have been a full time Professor of Mathematics at Oklahoma City Community College since 2008. I have taught course from Beginning Mathematics through Calculus III and Ordinary Differential Equations. This semester I have time available and I would like to tutor students on our campus (I cannot tutor students enrolled in a class section that I personally teach). One of my favorite parts of my job is when I get to help students in my office hours one on one. The are more willing to ask questions and I know that they need the help and don't already know how to do the math that I'm helping them with, and tutoring is like that, more personally helpful for the students I'm teaching.

Hobbies
My time is fairly well occupied by my wonderful family. I have two teenage sons in high school and a daughter in middle school. I have helped all of them with their math homework, and I thought it would be nice to help a student who actually wants my help (I'm joking), I even helped my wife with her college math classes.
