In 2006, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma. After graduating summa cum laude, I re-enrolled at the University of Oklahoma, where I earned my Master of Arts in Public Administration, with an emphasis on managing nonprofit organizations, and a Master of Arts in Spanish. I also spent time working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant within the University of Oklahoma's Department of Modern Languages, Literature, and Linguistics, where I taught Spanish courses -- both intermediate and introductory. In 2013, I began teaching Spanish classes -- beginning, advanced, and accelerated -- at Arkansas State University, both in person and online. At present, I work with a nonprofit organization in the Oklahoma City, Kansas area as an academic tutor.I specialize in tutoring students in any grade in English and Spanish subjects, including ESL/ELL, Spanish, literature, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. I'm also available to tutor students in expository writing, fiction writing, poetry, and literary analysis classes, as well as government, social studies, and political science students. Additionally, I offer test prep services, and am available to help students prepare for the ACT, SAT, and PSAT.
