Bachelor's Degree in Special Education with a specialty in Learning Disabilities from the University of Central Oklahoma, graduated in 1999. Also have taken classes and am 3 hours shy of a Graphic Design degree.
Experience
I taught for the Oklahoma City Public School system as a Special Education teacher for 8 years. Taught grades K-12. I have done some online tutoring previously. I want to be a tutor because I want to still teach but I need a schedule that is flexible. I have helped write a curriculum for the Native American Student Services and have also developed workshops to help teachers teach a more culturally sensitive curriculum to their students on this subject. I have also tutored in summer programs for OKCPS Native American Student Services in reading.
