2011- BS of Engineering in Materials Science Engineering from Ohio State University with a specialization in structural ceramics and a minor in Studio Art. Currently working on a Master's of Engineering through the Mississippi State University Distance Learning School with a 3.8 GPA.
Experience
I work at Tinker as a Materials Engineer, I have 5 years of lab experience as an undergraduate researcher and spent the past year in the Tinker Metallurgical analysis lab doing materials characterization including electron microscopy. Right now I'm stationed in the additive manufacturing lab on base. I have a high degree of familiarity with the introductory topics in materials science including crystal structures and miller indices, phase diagrams, stress-strain curves, strengthening mechanisms, characterization methods, and microscopy.
