I am a student at the University of Oklahoma, where I am working to complete my degree in education. Along with chemistry, I am well acquainted with history and mathematics. In addition to these subjects, I have experience working in a microbiology lab, where we conducted experiments on microorganisms that produced biofuel.As a student, I have always had the responsibility of helping younger students enrich their learning. I have tutored a range of subjects, from mathematics, to taking a more hands on approach in laboratory lessons. I have also proofread essays written by various students.In 2015, I worked as a counselor for several months at the space center in Alabama. I looked at it as an incredible experience, which allowed me to work with students from all over the world. While working at the space center, I was able to inspire people of all ages to learn about space travel and America's history in the space race. The students were able to undergo simulations that showed them what it was like to be an astronaut. This program was quite rewarding, as it gave me a chance to teach various people how to think outside the box in order to solve problems that an astronaut might face.Along with math and science, I enjoy reading comics and looking at art.
